For additional information, contact: Joel Abramson Vice President, Business Development (734) 426-7500 Careers@Vedit.com 2nd Level Tech Support/Spam AnalystWe are currently seeking full-time and part-time 2nd Level Tech Support/Spam Analyst.Shifts Available:• 5AM - 1PM / M-F (Full time)• 8PM - 4AM / Fri, Sat, and some weekdays (Part-time/full-time depending on applicant's schedule and available hours) • 5AM - 1PM / Sat, Sun, and some weekdays (Part-time/full-time depending on applicant's schedule and available hours) Responsibilities:This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Assist customers with Technical and Customer Service questions via Phone, e-mail and the online ticket system • Assist 1st-level Spam Analysts with 2nd-level Spam Analysis questions and problems • Assist 1st-level Spam Analysts with any technical problems • First response to Server Maintenance Notifications: • Diagnose and fix minor problems • Contact on-call 3rd level tech staff • Research new spam campaigns to create new Perl filters or adapt existing filters Requirements:• Knowledge, experience or ability to learn the Perl language• Knowledge, experience or ability to learn regular expressions • Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols (especially SMTP and DNS) • Good verbal, telephone, and written communication skills • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems not necessary but will be beneficial Compensation:Qualified applicants: $18-22/hr.Benefits:Premium Blue Cross PPO medical, dental and vision plan.
